As Chairman, Chapin serves on P.B. Bell’s investment committee and focuses on mentoring the leadership team.
After serving as a commercial lending officer and vice president for National City Bank, Chapin joined P.B. Bell in 1993 and worked alongside his father, Founder Philip Bell, for 25 years. In 2019, Phil retired and Chapin purchased ownership and served as CEO. In 2025, Chapin transitioned from CEO to the role of Chairman and remains owner of P.B. Bell.
Over the years, Chapin has developed more than 6,300 units and acquired over 4,100 units. He has served as Chairman of the Board for the Arizona Multihousing Association and UMOM New Day Centers as well as on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and Valley Partnership. He is currently a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the Arizona Multihousing Association. Chapin received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Arizona and holds an Arizona real estate license.
