As Chairman, Chapin serves on P.B. Bell’s investment committee and focuses on mentoring the leadership team.
After serving as a commercial lending officer and vice president for National City Bank, Chapin joined P.B. Bell in 1993 and worked alongside his father, Founder Philip Bell, for 25 years. In 2019, Phil retired and passed the reins and CEO title to Chapin. In 2025, Chapin transitioned to the role of Chairman and remains owner of P.B. Bell.
Over the years, Chapin has developed more than 6,300 units and acquired over 4,100 units. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and Valley Partnership. He is currently a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council, the UMOM Patrons Committee and the Arizona Multihousing Association. Chapin received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from University of Arizona and holds an Arizona real estate license.
