P.B Bell Gives Back

As a multifamily developer and management company, it’s important for our team at P.B. Bell to support our residents, our employees and the members of our community at large. From onsite clothing and food drives to community clean-up efforts and charitable donations, we pledge to make our communities a better place for everyone.

We all know the holidays get busy, so this year, P.B. Bell partnered with AMCF for Christmas in July for United Methodist Outreach Ministries’ (UMOM) Christmas Stocking drive. UMOM’s mission is to restore hope, rebuild lives and end homelessness. P.B. Bell is extremely passionate about partnering with this organization, so much so, that the team at P.B. Bell gathered four carloads of boxes full of donations. The team contributed so much that it filled an entire cubical, floor to ceiling! P.B. Bell’s contributions will allow UMOM to make more than 500 stockings this holiday season to provide to local families in need.

P.B. Bell also partnered with Feed My Starving Children in Mesa where kids and adults of all ages hand-pack nutritious MannaPack meals specifically designed to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition. P.B. Bell offered two different volunteer days to all employees on August 2 and August 16.

On August 2, more than 45 employees packed 75 boxes which equated to 16,200 meals. This amount will feed 44 children for an entire year. On August 16, 35 P.B. Bell employees turned out to pack another 66 boxes totaling 14,256 meals, enough to feed 39 children for an entire year. P.B. Bell’s combined efforts over the two days of volunteering will feed a total of 83 children for an entire year.

“I’ve really enjoyed our company volunteer outings,” said Aaron Bastida, Property Accountant at P.B. Bell. “It’s fun to come together with people from other departments and locations, get to know one another, and work as a team for a great cause. I’m looking forward to future volunteer days.”

One of P.B. Bell’s core values is “Show You Care.” Offering employees the opportunity to volunteer during work hours is one of the many ways the company lives this value. More partnerships with local non-profit organizations are already in the works as we approach the holidays.
