To honor one of our core values of Show You Care, every holiday season we give back to our local community. As our community continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, we knew we wanted to make a strong and positive impact on those who have been affected. With this thought in mind, the P.B. Bell team organized a Holiday Wish Drive to give back to Child Crisis Arizona. We encouraged our vendors, residents and staff to participate so we could help the most vulnerable youth in our community.
Child Crisis Arizona helps the state’s children and youth in need by providing a safe environment away from abuse. During the holiday season, they typically ask for toys, gift cards, and essential items for children in need, so they reach out for the community’s support in raising funds and donations.
The Outcome of the Holiday Wish Drive
P.B. Bell was honored to have an opportunity to participate in this give-back initiative. We involved our communities by placing donation boxes in the lobbies of our properties and we’re so proud of the response. As a result, we were able to donate over $10,000 in toys, gift cards, and essential items to Child Crisis Arizona.
Key items that were donated included sports equipment like basketballs, blankets and pillows, guitars, and popular toys like Barbie. We want to thank our entire community for coming together to donate these much needed items!
