If you have a need for speed and are searching for an exhilarating thing to do in Chandler, the Radford Racing School is the place for you. This 450-acre racing facility features three road courses and a variety of classes that are suited for any level of driver. With over 100 performance vehicles, SUVs and sedans to race with, the fun never ends!
Restaurants
If you’re on the hunt for fun things to do in Chandler and a bite to eat, head into the historic downtown area to The Perch Brewery. This brewery and pub has great bites but it’s best known for the 50 tropical rescue birds that the restaurant houses. To top it off, The Perch features a rooftop bar with unbeatable views of the city, as well as 40 craft beers on tap.
While you are out to explore Chandler, be sure to hit up another downtown classic, Craft 64. With all locally-sourced ingredients, Craft 64’s wood-fired pizzas, Arizona craft beers and wines can’t be beat. Having a hard time picking a drink? Don’t worry, the in-house sommelier has you covered!
In the mood for a little taste of Japan when searching for places to eat in Chandler? Check out Nishikawa Ramen to get your ramen fix. This fan-favorite is stated to be the East Valley’s first authentic ramen restaurant and their team works hard to serve up the best bites. Nishikawa Ramen boils its broths for 20 hours in order to achieve peak flavors and the noodles are made fresh everyday. Word on the street is that its gyoza is also out of this world, but you’ll just have to try it out for yourself.
Shopping
Craving something sweet? Sweeties of Arizona has been family-owned and operated for more than 50 years and offers a plethora of candies and goodies in its 13,000 square foot shop. Whether you’re in the mood for some classic treats or those hard-to-find flavors, chances are that Sweeties has it in stock, so there’s truly something for everyone!
If you’re looking for things to do in Chandler and enjoy the hunt of antique shopping, head over to the 58,000 square foot marketplace in Merchant Square. With more than 250 merchants in one place, you never know what kind of treasures you will find! Peruse through the marketplace’s collection of antiques, handmade items, furniture, clothes, jewelry and more.
Located in Old Town Chandler, Blue Planet features a variety of outdoor gear and goods with a mix of local styles and flare. You can find an assortment of hats, stickers, mugs, clothes and decor, with many Arizona-themed products to really help you get into the desert spirit. Plus, the shop plants one tree for every item purchased, so really, there’s no reason NOT to shop.
