After many Fourth of July celebrations were canceled last year due to the pandemic, Valley residents are itching to celebrate the birth of our nation in true patriotic fashion in 2021. Fortunately, there are many major Fourth of July activities and firework shows scheduled throughout the Valley so there is truly something for everyone, no matter where you live! 

To help you get into the American spirit, take a look at some of the top Fourth of July celebrations happening in Arizona: 

Phoenix – Postgame Fireworks

What’s more American than baseball, hotdogs and fireworks? For your Fourth of July festivities, cheer on the Arizona Diamondbacks as they take on the San Francisco Giants. Then, after rooting for the home team, stick around after the game for one of the best displays of fireworks in Phoenix! Tickets start at $29 each. 

Chandler – July Fourth Fireworks Spectacular

Looking to enjoy one of the best Fourth of July fireworks displays from the comfort of your own car? Head over to Tumbleweed Park for a drive-in fireworks show. Tickets are only $5 and there will be food vendors available to grab some tasty bites before the celebration begins. 

Goodyear – Star Spangled Fourth

For a fun Fourth of July activity for the whole family, head over to the Goodyear Ballpark for the Star Spangled Fourth celebration. This free event will feature a variety of activities and treats, including live music from country singer Chauncey Jones, a zipline that flies over the park, bouncy houses and more! 

Mesa – Arizona Celebration of Freedom

For a family-friendly Fourth of July activity for Mesa residents, head over to the Arizona Celebration of Freedom at the now-closed Fiesta Mills Mall parking lot for a free drive-in fireworks show. There will not be any food vendors at the event so be sure to bring your own picnic feast. Our recommendations include bringing lots of water (it will be hot), popcorn, candy and fruit — bonus points if you stick to a red, white and blue theme!

Glendale – Fireworks for the Fourth

The Westgate Entertainment District is hosting the free Fireworks for the Fourth celebration. This event will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including a chalk walk, photo ops, live music and face painting. If you want to enjoy some tasty food before watching some of the best Fourth of July firework displays in the Valley, be sure to make a reservation at one of the many restaurants located in the District.
