Every holiday season, the P.B. Bell team finds a new way to give back to the community and support a local charity through the funds raised at its year end event. However, as 2020 looked very different from normal years, this philanthropic endeavor also looked a little different. This year, P.B. Bell encouraged its employees and vendors to participate in its sock drive for St. Vincent de Paul.
Socks are one of the least donated items; however, they are also the item that are often needed the most. Especially as the temperatures continue to drop through the winter season, socks become high-demand to those in need. Due to this, P.B. Bell decided to lend a helping hand by gathering socks from employees and vendors willing to participate. Donations were dropped off or shipped to its corporate office in Scottsdale where the team collected the socks and dropped them off at St. Vincent de Paul.
The Outcome of the Sock Drive
Thanks to P.B. Bell’s initiative and the generosity of its employees and vendors, they were able to collectively gather and donate more than 3,200 pairs of socks this winter season. P.B. Bell would like to recognize and thank everyone who participated in the sock drive. When individuals work together, they can really make a positive difference!
