P.B. Bell’s Team Member Receives AMA Designation Scholarship to Further Education

P.B. Bell’s Taylor Hiett was recently awarded Arizona Multihousing Association’s (AMA) Designation Scholarship award at the 2018 Best Of S.A.F.E awards. This prestigious award recognizes hard work and dedication in the industry by offering award participants scholarships to continue their education in multifamily. During the 2018 AMA Best Of S.A.F.E award ceremony on September 27, P.B. Bell, a leader in multifamily housing development and acquisitions, was also awarded Best Community Flier.

The AMA Designation Scholarship supports members to pursue education by earning a professional designation from the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI). Heitt’s award allows her to attend a national apartment leasing professions program making it possible for her to earn a national property management credential.  The National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) credential that she will earn will enhance her career, and pave a path for continued success in the multifamily industry.

“Working with P.B. Bell’s managed property The Premiere at Dana Park, really inspired me to make a career in this industry,” said Hiett. “With this amazing scholarship, I now have the opportunity to enhance my knowledge about industry trends, practices, technology, legislation and more, while demonstrating and applying the skills I have learned working with P.B. Bell.”

P.B. Bell’s second recognition of the night, the Best Community Flier award, recognizes the firm’s invite sent to residents encouraging participation in Project S.A.F.E.

“P.B. Bell strives to inform residents about safety issues surrounding the community,” said R. Chapin Bell, president and CEO of P.B. Bell. “We’re honored to be recognized for our efforts.”

Project S.A.F.E, an acronym for Safety Awareness Family Education, seeks to educate people on important topics including pet safety, car theft and preventing apartment fires. P.B. Bell’s participation in the project is valuable and benefits property managers, staff and residents alike who engage in the program.
